TW: DEATH, BLOOD, GORE, VIOLENCE, MENTAL/PHYSICAL ABUSE, FAMILIAL ABUSE, MENTAL ILLNESS, MEDICAL MALPRACTICE, AND MEDICAL/PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR. IF ANY OF THESE THINGS DEEPLY BOTHER YOU, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND TREAD CAREFULLY. I PROBABLY WON'T BE TAGGING THESE, SINCE IT WOULD BE MOST OF MY BLOG, BUT IF YOU WANT TO WRITE WITH ME, AND NEED ME TO TAG SOMETHING SPECIFIC, LET ME KNOW AND I'LL TRY TO ACCOMODATE YOU.

RULES

A decent grasp of English is required. Obviously I won't mind some grammatical errors or typos, and I don't care how you format your posts as long as they're legible, but I will probably refuse to write with someone who does not properly punctuate their writing.

A decent ability to separate IC and OOC is also required. I won’t take things said or done IC personally and I expect the same.

I am semi-selective, but I don’t require you to be a mutual to interact. Always feel welcome to send me OOC memes and asks. I will examine your blog before agreeing to a thread though. I’m not particularly picky, and a clear rules/about/biography page is usually enough, but if I refuse to write with you, please don't pester me about it.

This is a side blog. I can’t follow you here. Please don’t take it as a sign that I’m not interested in interacting with you if I don’t follow your blog- I probably am. I will always take a look at the blogs of new followers though, and reach out via PM.

THIS BLOG IS 18+, MINORS PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT. I'm fine with and may frequently post violent or sexual content.

I can't guarantee walls of text. However I will always try to give you plenty to work with, if I can, and I am perfectly fine with short posts so long as they do the same for me.

Shipping is perfectly fine with me, and I'll go for just about anything (of age), but it's going to be a SLOW burn. Your character is going to have to do most of the romantic legwork, and you should go into it expecting the initial reception to go over like a lead balloon. Or worse.

I'm not interested in entertaining people who just want to beat up my muse for revenge points. I require more nuance than that.

Lastly, I WILL NOT BE TOLERATING ANY OOC HOMOPHOBIA, TRANSPHOBIA, RACISM, SEXISM, ABLEISM, OR GENERAL BIGOTRY ON MY BLOG. However I am fine with a character expressing such views IC.

VERSES

01. ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT (CANON)

Michael escapes from his imprisonment and returns to Haddonfield, where he stalks the streets on Halloween night. Are you afraid of the man outside your window?
(Canon based AU verse, begins on the night Michael makes his escape and may diverge in any manner desired for the thread.)

02. THE VANISHING ACT (AU)

After breaking free from the sanitarium, Michael disappeared into the night- and was never found again. His stolen car was located, empty and abandoned on the side of the road 15 miles south of Haddonfield, but the resulting investigation returned no leads.
Because Michael wasn't there. After returning to visit his empty house, he left Haddonfield entirely, making his way across the state through hitchhiking, surviving off of petty theft.
Seven years passed with no sign of the patient who escaped from Smith's Grove.. And the residents of a small town hours away remain unaware that the reclusive janitor working the graveyard shift at their local highschool has a darker past than it would seem.

03. THE SHAPE (DEAD BY DAYLIGHT)

In an injured daze, Michael retreated from his night of terror- and quickly found himself in a strange fog. Beset with creeping strangers and haunted by a grim presence tugging at the edges of his conscious, he gripped his blade with renewed fortitude and did only what he knew to do.

BIO

After his violent outburst on the Halloween eve of 1963, Michael was successfully contained at Smith's Grove Sanitarium. In this environment of fear and restriction, held prisoner under intense scrutiny and denied the ability to naturally develop any interpersonal skills, Michael only regressed, retreating ever further into his own mind.

He had always struggled with words and relationships, scarcely speaking even to his parents and attaining no friends, and this did not improve during his stay at the sanitarium. Instead, he learned a different language. He learned to sit still. Be quiet. Betray nothing. FEAR observation. In those sterile white halls, he learned that safety was in solitude- the true danger was OTHER PEOPLE.

(Take note that this blog is heavily AU and headcanon based, using the 1978 movie as inspiration. I'm not familiar with most of the sequels or the recent film, and will not be actively taking cues from any of them.)
